C’mon Barbie, Let’s go Bunco!
There’s no doubt that Barbie has really made a comeback this summer! With all the Barbie fever lately, we love the idea of making Barbie the theme of your next bunco party. Keep reading for more ideas — “Come on Barbie, let’s go Bunco!”

Invitations and Attire
The color scheme for this one is easy—- anything pink goes! We also love mixing in “pool blue” and “Malibu green” to make the color scheme really pop. If you’re sending paper invitations, you could include some fun Barbie themed confetti in the envelope, or for a classic online or Facebook invitation, feel free to use our “C’mon Barbie let’s go Bunco” graphic below. (Consider this our permission!) When you invite your guests, make sure you tell them to dress as their favorite Barbie — this could be any Barbie from any era, which leaves the costume ideas wide open. You could choose a career Barbie, classic Barbie, Sporty Barbie, or even come up with your own idea. Outfits can be simple or elaborate — your choice!
Barbie Bunco Decor
Every good Barbie Bunco party needs a good photo op! We really love this “Barbie-esque” photo backdrop, which is a total showstopper! You could also create a more classic photo backdrop from a simple pink tablecloth, and jazz it up with some photo props like these.
For the table decorations, you can use simple pink table cloths to bring in an instant pop of color. We found these adorable holographic glitter plates on Amazon, and think these would be perfect for serving up some yummy snacks! We also like these Barbie pink party flutes to bring some festive fun to your bar. If you want to do a floral arrangement for your welcome table or food table, we love these ideas linked in the photos below, (which can also be found on our Barbie Bunco Pinterest Board). Our favorite is this adorable arrangement from “Kara’s party ideas” made in a pink Barbie convertible— so fun!
Barbie Party Favors
Of course party favors are absolutely not necessary for a Bunco party, but we did find some really cute and inexpensive ideas just in case you want to go above and beyond with your party. First up are these pink bandanas that could be linked together to make a cute table runner, and th given to guests to tie into their pony tail! You could also gift your guests some cute pink heart sunglasses, which would be extra cute in photos 🙂
Barbie Bunco Snack Ideas
As with everything else at a Barbie Bunco party, we think pink when it comes to snacks too! At first it may sound hard to come up with pink foods to serve, but there are actually plenty of cute ideas out there! Don’t fret —- we’ve rounded up our favorites for you here and on Pinterest, including this awesome DIY Pink Popcorn from Leighannwilkes.com, a great Barbie Charcuterie example, and some delicious looking pink desserts.
If you don’t have the time or the ingredients to make your own pink snacks, you can always just serve neutral colored foods in pink containers. (Think popcorn in these cute pink stripe popcorn buckets or chips in a bright pink bowl!)
